Foundayo Headaches, Dizziness and Fatigue: What Could Be Causing Them?

Does Foundayo cause headaches?

Headache, dizziness and fatigue are all recognised common adverse reactions to Foundayo.

However, the medicine itself isn't always the only possible explanation.

Could dehydration be responsible?

Possibly.

If Foundayo causes nausea, vomiting or diarrhoea, fluid intake can fall while fluid losses increase.

Dehydration can contribute to headaches, dizziness and weakness.

Are you eating enough?

Foundayo reduces appetite, but the aim of treatment is not to stop eating.

Your body still requires sufficient:

  • protein
  • energy
  • vitamins and minerals
  • fluids.

If appetite suppression has become so strong that you are struggling to maintain adequate nutrition, discuss this with your prescriber.

What about low blood sugar?

For people with type 2 diabetes, the risk of hypoglycaemia can increase when Foundayo is combined with insulin or certain medicines such as sulfonylureas.

Symptoms can include sweating, shaking, hunger, dizziness or confusion.

Your diabetes treatment may require review.

When should headaches or dizziness be assessed?

Seek medical advice for persistent symptoms or headaches that are unusually severe.

Urgent assessment is appropriate for sudden severe headache, neurological symptoms, significant visual changes, collapse or other concerning symptoms.
