- Anusol Plus HC Ointment – 15g
Anusol Plus HC Ointment 15g provides symptomatic treatment for internal and external haemorrhoids (piles) and itching around the anus. It is particularly useful where piles are associated with inflammation and irritation.
Unlike standard Anusol, Anusol Plus HC contains hydrocortisone acetate, a corticosteroid that helps reduce inflammation. It also contains zinc oxide, bismuth subgallate, bismuth oxide, balsam Peru and benzyl benzoate, providing protective, astringent and mild antiseptic properties.
For adults over 18 years, apply sparingly to the affected area at night, in the morning and after each bowel movement, up to a maximum of 4 applications per day. For internal piles, use the rectal nozzle supplied.
Because it contains hydrocortisone, treatment should be limited to a maximum of 7 days. If symptoms do not improve, worsen or frequently return, seek medical advice.
