Germoloids Cream 25g provides symptomatic relief from the pain, swelling, irritation and itching associated with haemorrhoids (piles) and itching around the anus.
It contains two active ingredients:
Lidocaine hydrochloride 0.7% w/w – a local anaesthetic that helps numb the affected area and relieve pain and itching.
Zinc oxide 6.6% w/w – provides astringent, antiseptic, soothing and protective properties to help protect irritated skin.
The water-based cream has emollient properties to help moisturise and soothe the affected area. It can be used for both internal and external piles, and an applicator is supplied for internal application.
Adults and children aged 12 years and over should apply the cream at least twice daily, leaving at least 3–4 hours between applications. Further applications can be made when required, particularly after a bowel movement, but do not use more than 4 times in 24 hours.

Apply at least twice daily with 3–4 hours between applications. Further applications can be made when necessary, particularly after bowel movements, up to a maximum of 4 applications in 24 hours.
What age is Germoloids Cream suitable for?
It can be used by adults and children aged 12 years and over. Children under 12 should only use it when directed by a doctor.
