Thyme Herb Extract

Thyme (Thymus vulgaris and Thymus zygis) is traditionally used for coughs, including chesty coughs associated with mucus and catarrh.

Each pastille contains 59.5mg of thyme herb dry extract.

The pastilles dissolve gradually in the mouth, offering a convenient way to take this traditional herbal medicine without needing to measure a liquid dose.

Who Can Use Bronchostop Cough Pastilles?

Bronchostop Cough Pastilles are suitable for adults, older people and children over 12 years of age.

They are traditionally used for the relief of:

• Dry and tickly coughs
• Chesty coughs
• Irritating coughs
• Coughs associated with catarrh

These pastilles are not recommended for children under 12 years of age.

How to Take Bronchostop Cough Pastilles

Adults, older people and children over 12 years:

Take 1–2 pastilles every four hours, four times daily.

If required, up to a maximum of 12 pastilles may be taken in 24 hours.

Allow each pastille to dissolve slowly in the mouth by sucking.

Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Active Ingredients

Each pastille contains:

Thyme Herb Extract: 59.5mg of dry extract from Thymus vulgaris L. and Thymus zygis L. (DER 7–13:1; extraction solvent: water).

Other ingredients include fructose, sorbitol, flavourings and additional excipients.

Each pastille contains approximately 300mg of fructose and 523mg of sorbitol. Consult the leaflet if you have been told you have an intolerance to certain sugars.

• Do not take if you are allergic to thyme, other plants belonging to the Lamiaceae family, or any other ingredients.
