Windeze Tablets contain simeticone 125mg, which helps relieve the symptoms of trapped wind, bloating and abdominal discomfort caused by excess gas in the digestive system.

Simeticone works locally in the gut to break down gas bubbles, making them easier to pass naturally. It is not absorbed into the bloodstream and is generally well tolerated.

What is Windeze used for?

Windeze® Tablets are used to relieve:

  • Trapped wind
  • Bloating
  • Excess gas
  • Abdominal discomfort caused by gas
  • Feeling of fullness after eating

How does Windeze work?

Windeze contains simeticone, an anti-foaming agent that breaks up trapped gas bubbles in the stomach and intestines. The smaller gas bubbles are then easier to pass, helping to relieve bloating and discomfort.

Unlike antacids, Windeze does not neutralise stomach acid—it works specifically to relieve symptoms caused by excess gas.

Who can use Windeze?

Windeze may be suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and over experiencing trapped wind and bloating.

Who should not use Windeze?

Windeze may not be suitable if you:

  • Are allergic to simeticone or any of the ingredients.
  • Are under 12 years of age.
  • Have severe or persistent abdominal pain that has not been assessed by a healthcare professional.

Speak to your pharmacist or healthcare professional before use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or taking regular medicines.
