Kwells 300 Microgram Tablets are used for the fast and effective prevention and control of travel sickness.
Each tablet contains 300 micrograms of hyoscine hydrobromide. Hyoscine hydrobromide temporarily reduces the effect of movement on the balance organs of the inner ear and the nerves responsible for nausea, helping to prevent and control the symptoms associated with travel sickness.
Kwells tablets melt in the mouth, allowing rapid absorption. They can be sucked, chewed or swallowed and may be taken up to 30 minutes before travelling to help prevent travel sickness, or at the onset of nausea.
Kwells 300 Microgram Tablets are suitable for adults and children over 10 years of age. Always read the patient information leaflet and follow the recommended dosage.

Yes. Kwells may cause drowsiness or dizziness in some people. If affected, do not drive or operate machinery. Alcohol should be avoided as it may increase drowsiness.
Who should not take Kwells?
Do not take Kwells if you are allergic to hyoscine hydrobromide or any of the ingredients, or if you have glaucoma, paralytic ileus, pyloric stenosis, myasthenia gravis or an enlarged prostate. Check the patient information leaflet and speak to a pharmacist or doctor if you are unsure whether Kwells is suitable for you.
Can I take Kwells during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Do not take Kwells during pregnancy or while breastfeeding unless recommended by your doctor or midwife.
