- Dioralyte Diarrhoea Relief & Rehydration...
Dioralyte Blackcurrant 6 Sachets is an oral rehydration treatment designed to replace water and essential body salts lost during episodes of acute diarrhoea.
Diarrhoea can cause the body to lose fluids and electrolytes, potentially leading to dehydration. Dioralyte contains a carefully balanced combination of glucose and electrolytes that helps the body absorb water and replace lost salts.
The blackcurrant-flavoured powder is mixed with water to create an oral rehydration solution suitable for adults and children when used according to the instructions.
What Is Dioralyte Used For?
- Fluid replacement: Helps restore fluids lost through diarrhoea.
- Electrolyte replacement: Replenishes essential body salts, including sodium and potassium.
- Dehydration management: Helps prevent or correct dehydration associated with acute diarrhoea.
- Gastroenteritis: Supports rehydration when diarrhoea is caused by a stomach or intestinal infection.
Dioralyte does not directly stop diarrhoea or treat its underlying cause.
