Voltarol Back and Muscle Pain Relief Gel 1.16% is a topical anti-inflammatory treatment that provides targeted relief from pain and inflammation directly at the source. It contains diclofenac diethylammonium 1.16%, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that penetrates the skin to help relieve pain, reduce swelling and support the natural healing process. Its non-greasy Emulgel formula is fast absorbing, making it ideal for everyday use.
Voltarol Back & Muscle Pain Relief Gel is suitable for the relief of:
- Back pain
- Muscle pain
- Neck pain
- Sprains
- Strains
- Bruises
- Minor sports injuries
- Tendon injuries
- Ligament injuries
- Localised soft tissue rheumatism
Active Ingredient
Each 100g contains:
- Diclofenac Diethylammonium 1.16g (equivalent to 1g diclofenac sodium)
Directions for Use
Adults and adolescents aged 14 years and over.
- Apply a small amount (approximately 2–4g, about the size of a cherry to a walnut) to the affected area.
- Gently massage into the skin 3 to 4 times daily.
- Wash your hands after application unless treating the hands.
- Do not use for longer than 14 days for muscle or soft tissue injuries unless advised by a healthcare professional.
Important Information
- For external use only.
- Do not apply to broken, infected or irritated skin.
- Avoid contact with the eyes and mouth.
- Do not use if you are allergic to diclofenac, aspirin or other NSAIDs.
- Not suitable during the last 3 months of pregnancy.
- Do not use on children under 14 years.
- Stop use and seek medical advice if symptoms persist or worsen.
- Do not cover the treated area with airtight or occlusive dressings.
