Colpermin IBS Relief Capsules are specially formulated to relieve symptoms associated with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).

Each gastro-resistant capsule contains 0.2ml peppermint oil. The special enteric coating allows the capsule to pass through the stomach before releasing peppermint oil further down the digestive tract.

Peppermint oil acts locally on the bowel, helping relax gastrointestinal smooth muscle and relieve the abdominal pain, cramps and discomfort associated with IBS.

Adults should take 1 capsule three times daily. If discomfort is severe, this can be increased to 2 capsules three times daily. Swallow capsules whole and do not break or chew them.

The capsules should normally be taken until symptoms resolve, usually within 1–2 weeks. For more persistent symptoms, treatment may be continued for 2–3 months.

Colpermin should not be taken immediately after food, and indigestion remedies should not be taken at the same time.

Always read the patient information leaflet before use.
