Otex Express Ear Drops 10ml are designed to help remove hardened and excessive earwax, which can cause blocked-ear sensations, discomfort and reduced hearing.

The formulation contains urea hydrogen peroxide, which releases oxygen to help break hardened earwax into smaller pieces. Glycerol and urea also help soften the wax, making it easier to remove naturally or through subsequent professional earwax removal where necessary. The closely related licensed Otex medicine uses urea hydrogen peroxide 5% w/w for this purpose.

Tilt the head and gently squeeze up to 5 drops into the affected ear. Keep the head tilted for a few minutes, then wipe away any excess. Repeat once or twice daily, normally for 3–4 days.

Do not use Otex Express if there is ear pain, discharge, inflammation, infection, tinnitus, dizziness, a damaged eardrum or another existing ear problem unless advised by an appropriate healthcare professional.
