Paramol 24 Tablets provide effective short-term relief of acute moderate pain that has not been relieved by paracetamol, ibuprofen or aspirin alone. Each tablet combines paracetamol 500mg, which helps relieve pain and reduce fever, with dihydrocodeine tartrate 7.46mg, an opioid painkiller that enhances pain relief for more moderate pain. This medicine is intended for short-term use only and should not be taken for more than 3 consecutive days due to the risk of dependence associated with dihydrocodeine.

Directions for Use

• Adults and adolescents aged 16 years and over:Take 1 or 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours as required.
• Do not take more than 8 tablets in 24 hours.
• Adolescents aged 12 to 15 years:Take 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours as required.
• Do not take more than 4 tablets in 24 hours.
• Do not use for more than 3 consecutive days unless advised by a healthcare professional.
• Take during or after meals where possible.
• Not suitable for children under 12 years.
