Dermatix Silicone Gel is a clinically proven topical treatment designed to improve the appearance of raised, red and thickened scars. The transparent silicone gel helps to soften, flatten and smooth scars while reducing redness, itching and discomfort associated with scar formation.

Suitable for both new and existing scars, Dermatix is easy to apply and dries quickly to form an invisible protective layer.

Following your online assessment, one of our healthcare professionals will determine whether Dermatix® is suitable for you.

What is Dermatix® used for?

Dermatix is used to help improve the appearance of scars caused by:

  • Surgery
  • Caesarean section (C-section)
  • Cuts and lacerations
  • Burns
  • Accidents and injuries
  • Hypertrophic scars
  • Keloid scars

It may also help reduce redness, itching and discomfort associated with healing scars.

How does Dermatix work?

Dermatix contains medical-grade silicone, which forms a thin, flexible protective layer over the scar. This helps maintain optimal skin hydration, regulate collagen production and create an environment that supports healthy scar maturation.

With regular use, scars may become flatter, softer, smoother and less noticeable.

Who can use Dermatix?

Dermatix may be suitable for adults and children with fully healed wounds and intact skin.

It can be used on both new and older scars.

Who should not use Dermatix?

Dermatix® should not be used:

  • On open wounds or broken skin.
  • On infected skin.
  • On mucous membranes or inside the mouth or nose.
  • Near the eyes.
  • If you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
  • If your wound has not fully healed, wait until the skin has completely closed before starting treatment.

Possible Side Effects

Dermatix is generally well tolerated.

  • Mild skin irritation
  • Redness
  • Itching
  • Dry skin

If irritation persists, discontinue use and seek advice from a healthcare professional.
