Dr. Amel Imam, known to many as Dr. Mel, is an experienced NHS GP and our Medical Director. She has a specialist interest in obesity medicine, inspired in part by her own personal weight loss journey using a GLP-1 medication—something she has openly shared on social media.

Her firsthand experience with the challenges of managing health has given her a deep understanding and empathy for the patients she supports. By combining this personal insight with her evidence-based clinical expertise, Dr. Mel is passionate about empowering others to take control of their health and make sustainable, informed choices for long-term wellbeing.

Mohamed is a highly experienced pharmacist with over 19 years of practice across primary care, secondary care, and clinical research. As an independent prescriber, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise, with special interests in weight management, minor ailments, and men’s health.

Throughout his career, Mohamed has been dedicated to improving patient outcomes, earning recognition for his compassionate, patient-centred approach. His commitment to personalised care and evidence-based practice continues to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those he supports.

Ismail is a pharmacist independent prescriber with experience across hospital, GP, and community pharmacy settings. He holds a Masters of Pharmacy degree from the University of Hertfordshire and a postgraduate qualification from the University of Portsmouth. He is committed to providing clear, reliable healthcare support to every patient.

Marina is a qualified pharmacist prescriber with over 12 years of experience in pharmacy practice and 8 years as an independent prescriber. They have worked across both primary and secondary care settings, developing strong expertise in patient-centred care, clinical decision-making, and multidisciplinary working. Their background spans a range of clinical environments, supporting safe, effective prescribing and evidence-based treatment.
