- Pharmulous vs Numan: Prices, Delivery...

Choosing a weight-management provider isn't only about finding the lowest starting price. The cost at different strengths, the type of clinical support available, delivery arrangements and longer-term maintenance can all matter.
Pharmulous and Numan both provide online access to prescription weight-management treatment following clinical assessment. However, their services are structured differently.
Numan operates a subscription-based Weight Loss Programme that combines treatment with its app and health coaching. Pharmulous provides clinician-led treatment with ongoing support and a dedicated approach to longer-term weight maintenance.
Here we compare their current prices and some of the main differences between the two services.
Pharmulous vs Numan at a glance

Numan's prices above are its standard rolling monthly prices for new customers and exclude potential first-order discounts or commitment packages. Numan says discounted commitment packages are also available.
Pharmulous's current comparison information lists Mounjaro from £144.99 and Wegovy from £94.99.
Mounjaro prices: Pharmulous vs Numan
Numan's standard rolling monthly Mounjaro prices currently range from £219 at 2.5mg to £359 at 15mg. Numan says these prices exclude potential discounts and commitment packages.

At these published standard prices, Pharmulous's medication price is lower at each Mounjaro strength shown.
However, the comparison should make clear that Numan offers commitment packages that can reduce its monthly cost, so its rolling monthly price isn't necessarily what every Numan customer pays.
Wegovy prices: Pharmulous vs Numan
Numan's current Help Centre lists standard rolling monthly Wegovy prices from £149 at 0.25mg to £319 at 7.2mg.

Again, Numan's published rolling monthly prices are higher at each strength in this comparison, although commitment packages and introductory discounts can change the amount an individual Numan customer pays.
An example over four months
To illustrate how the difference in standard prices can add up, consider four months using the Wegovy strengths 0.25mg, 0.5mg, 1mg and 1.7mg.
Pharmulous
£94.99 + £109.99 + £119.99 + £159.99 = £484.96
Numan rolling monthly
£149 + £179 + £189 + £219 = £736
That represents a difference of £251.04 across the four months before considering delivery or any discounts.
This is simply a price illustration using four consecutive strengths, not a recommendation or guarantee about how an individual's treatment will progress. Dose decisions are made according to clinical assessment and response to treatment.
How Numan's subscription works
One of the bigger differences between the providers is how the service is packaged.
Numan describes its Weight Loss Programme as a subscription. Injectable treatments are generally delivered every 28 days, with the monthly price depending on the medication and strength.
Numan also offers commitment packages at discounted rates compared with its one-month rolling subscription. Importantly, Numan says that people switching to Numan from another provider cannot choose the one-month rolling subscription and must instead select one of its commitment packages.
Pharmulous's model is more directly centred around prescribing, dispensing and ongoing clinical management rather than packaging treatment into the same type of coaching-led subscription programme.
That distinction may matter to patients who want flexibility as well as those who particularly value additional programme features.
Clinical support: Pharmulous vs Numan
Both providers offer clinical support, but Numan places considerable emphasis on health coaching and behavioural change alongside medication.
Numan's programme includes its mobile app and access to health coaching. Its Help Centre says coaches can help with food, movement, sleep and mindset. Patients can also access its AI health coach through the app and contact their clinical team about treatment or health questions.
Numan also offers one-to-one coaching, although its current Help Centre notes that matching with a human coach depends on availability and there may be a wait.
Pharmulous takes a clinician-led approach, with ongoing clinical support and monitoring throughout treatment.
So this isn't simply a medication-price comparison. Someone who wants an app, behavioural tools and coaching may place value on Numan's broader programme, while someone primarily looking for clinician-led prescribing, monitoring and continuity of treatment may weigh the services differently.
Delivery: Pharmulous vs Numan
Both providers deliver treatment to patients' homes.
Numan describes its injectable weight-management service as a subscription with a delivery generally made every 28 days. Its app also allows weight-management patients to change an upcoming delivery date, including bringing an order forward by up to 14 days or postponing it.
Pharmulous offers delivery as well as a collection option. Current Pharmulous comparison information lists Royal Mail Special Delivery at £4.99 for relevant treatment.
I wouldn't currently claim that Numan offers collection. Its ordering guidance describes Numan as a digital healthcare company taking orders online, so “Unknown” is the safer wording in the comparison table unless Numan confirms a collection service.
Weight maintenance: Pharmulous vs Numan
Both Pharmulous and Numan support treatment beyond the initial weight-loss phase.
Numan says that once someone reaches their target weight, they may move onto a maintenance dose. Its prescribing clinician considers factors including response to treatment, weight stability and side effects, with the aim of finding the lowest effective dose for the individual. Numan says its clinical team continues monitoring progress and can adjust the dose when needed.
Pharmulous also supports longer-term maintenance. Current Pharmulous comparison information states that established patients can be supported down to a BMI of 19 where continued treatment is clinically appropriate.
What is Numan's lowest BMI for maintenance?
I would not put a specific Numan minimum BMI in the article yet.
Numan clearly publishes information about maintenance dosing, but the current maintenance information I found doesn't state a simple minimum BMI at which it will stop or continue prescribing.
For the comparison table, I'd therefore use:
Pharmulous: BMI 19
Numan: Unknown
That is more defensible than assuming Numan follows the same threshold.
Can you switch from Numan to Pharmulous?
Patients already receiving treatment elsewhere can apply to change provider, but changing provider doesn't automatically guarantee that the same treatment or dose will be prescribed.
Numan explicitly asks people switching from another provider which dose they were previously taking and which dose they want to resume from. Its clinicians then review the request and determine what is clinically appropriate.
Similarly, someone receiving treatment through Numan can complete a Pharmulous consultation to determine whether continuing treatment through Pharmulous may be clinically appropriate.
Evidence of existing treatment, such as the medication and current dose, may be required to help assess continuity of care.
Pharmulous and Numan: the main differences
There are several practical differences worth considering rather than looking only at the headline starting price.
At the standard rolling monthly prices compared here, Pharmulous's listed medication price is lower at every Mounjaro and Wegovy strength. Numan, however, offers discounted commitment packages and potentially introductory discounts, meaning its rolling monthly prices don't represent every customer's cost.
Numan also places greater emphasis on a programme model, combining medication with its app, health coaching and behavioural support.
Both providers offer ongoing clinical support and weight-maintenance treatment. Pharmulous additionally has a clearly stated BMI 19 position in the comparison information we're using, whereas I haven't found an equivalent minimum maintenance BMI published by Numan.
Pharmulous also offers collection as an alternative to delivery, while I haven't found a published Numan collection option.
Considering changing provider?
If you're already receiving weight-management treatment elsewhere, you can complete a Pharmulous consultation to see whether continuing treatment with us may be clinically appropriate.
All treatment is subject to clinical assessment and prescribing approval. Providing details of your current treatment may help our clinical team assess continuity of care.
Frequently asked questions
Is Pharmulous cheaper than Numan?
Using Numan's current published standard rolling monthly prices, Pharmulous's listed medication prices are lower at all six Mounjaro strengths and all six Wegovy strengths compared above. Numan also offers commitment packages and potential discounts, so the actual amount a Numan customer pays can differ.
Does Numan include health coaching?
Yes. Health coaching forms part of Numan's Weight Loss Programme. Numan also provides an app with health and treatment features and an AI health coach, while one-to-one human coaching can be requested subject to availability.
Does Numan offer maintenance treatment?
Yes. Numan says patients who reach their target weight may move onto a clinician-tailored maintenance dose, with continued monitoring and dose adjustments where appropriate.
What is the lowest BMI Numan will prescribe at for maintenance?
Numan publishes information about maintenance treatment, but I couldn't find a current public Numan policy giving a specific minimum BMI for continued prescribing. I would therefore describe its published minimum as unknown, rather than infer a cutoff.
Can I switch from Numan to Pharmulous?
You can apply to change provider, but continuation of a particular medication or dose remains subject to clinical assessment and prescribing approval.
